About us
For nearly 25 years, the Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation (HBCF) has been the cornerstone of support for local Hunter residents and their families navigating breast cancer. As the primary breast cancer support service charity in the Hunter region, our mission is to provide practical supportive care services that make a tangible impact in the lives of those affected by breast cancer.
At HBCF every dollar raised stays within the Hunter community, reaching hundreds of local families each year. Recent years have witnessed a surge in demand for our services in the Newcastle and Hunter areas, compounded by the challenges posed by the global pandemic. Despite lingering effects from COVID, our resilient community continues to demonstrate the crucial role of ongoing support.
Our services at HBCF are tailored to diverse needs, including a mobile wig & headwear library, private transport to & from treatment, home cleaning and lawn maintenance during active treatment, comfort cushions for post-surgery & during metastatic journeys, prosthesis financial support, school aged children education grants, children’s books explaining breast cancer, and an online wellness hub including exercise & mindfulness programs. This commitment extends beyond breast cancer, reaching ovarian, melanoma, and other cancer patients through collaborations with other local for-purpose organisations. As we address this increased demand, your support becomes instrumental in ensuring no one faces these challenges alone.
The surge in breast cancer diagnoses necessitates renewed community support. Your generosity enables us to extend vital services, offering practical assistance to those who need it, when they need it most. Together, we can uplift our community by making a tough time a bit brighter for those facing the challenges of breast cancer.
About The Event
Join us for an extraordinary celebration as we mark our 25th Birthday with a spectacular Birthday Party! Embracing the theme of nostalgia and festivity, the evening promises an array of delights including confetti showers, pink disco balls, live music, delectable cake, sparklers, and classic party games. This special event is a unique opportunity to honour HBCF's rich history and impact over the past 25 years, while celebrating the resilience and strength of our community.

There will be multimedia facilities available (TV screens & microphone). If you would like to use these, please contact us in advance and email your requirements and any files at least 7 days prior. In the interest of keeping our guests entertained and engaged, these will be limited to 5 minutes per speaker. Please remain on topic and on brand.
So that we are able to calculate ticket numbers available for the general public, we require all Sponsorship packages to be booked in by 3rd June 2024.

If you would like to include something in our party bags, please contact us in advance with which items you are thinking so that we can avoid double-ups in items.
Sponsors are required to commit to the agreed-upon sponsorship package, including financial contributions and/or any in-kind donations. Payment details, including deadlines and accepted forms of payment, will be outlined upon confirmation of sponsorship. Customised sponsorship packages can be discussed to meet specific sponsor preferences and objectives.

All sponsors are expected to adhere to relevant local laws and regulations in their promotional activities during the event. Logistical information, including setup details, event schedule, and any specific requirements, will be communicated well in advance to ensure a smooth collaboration. Any changes to sponsorship commitments must be communicated in writing and agreed upon by both parties.
